International Week 2026
The International Relations Office (SRI) will hold the 6th edition of UFES' International Week from 24 to 28 August. The chosen topic for 2026 is "Internationalisation in the Age of Digital Transformation".
The initiative aims to encourage reflection on the challenges and opportunities of internationalisation in the context of digital transformation, as well as to promote the sharing of experiences and best practice developed at the University.
The programme includes activities targeted at different groups within the academic community, including students, teaching staff and administrative staff. The participation is free of charge, subject to registration for each activity. Links to the registration forms and details regarding the format, venue and time of each event are available in the programme below.
The opening ceremony and the activity dedicated to the students will take place in-person in Vitória. In addition, the programme will also include in-person events at the Alegre and São Mateus campuses during the week before and after the main event. The remaining activities will be held online, broadening access and enabling the academic community from all the University’s campuses to take part.
Throughout the week, the event will also feature a cultural exhibition in the lobby of the Rector's Office building, with the participation of international students at UFES, who will showcase aspects of their home countries and cultures. This particular activity seeks to celebrate the cultural diversity present at the University and to foster opportunities for exchange and interaction within the academic community. The exhibition will draw to a close on Friday, from 01.00 pm to 03.00 pm, with oral and cultural presentations by the participating students.
The entire academic community is invited to attend this celebration of diversity and internationalisation at UFES. Join the 6th UFES International Week and discover initiatives, opportunities and experiences that strengthen internationalisation inside our University.
