Portuguese language courses

The Language Center of Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo offers basic and intermediate Portuguese language courses for foreigners. More information is available at http://www.nucleodelinguas.ufes.br.

There are 8 levels - according to the "CELPE-Bras" exam for proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese. Each level lasts 30 hours. A placement exam should be taken before the beginning of classes - usually in February or July.
