The International Relations Office (SRI) is responsible for formulating the university’s internationalisation policy, as well as for promoting and expanding its international activities. It advises the Rector, central bodies, and teaching and research units on matters relating to international academic cooperation.

- Responsibilities
- Promoting and consolidating the internationalisation of UFES as a strategy for institutional growth and the enhancement of academic activities;
- Advising all academic units at UFES on the implementation of international cooperation;
- Selecting, preparing and sharing information on international cooperation programmes and initiatives;
- Offering mobility opportunities to the UFES academic community;
- Supporting lecturers, researchers and students from foreign institutions in carrying out activities at UFES;
- Encourage the implementation of agreements for collaborative research activities with foreign institutions;
- Maintain contact with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as with embassies, consulates, organisations and international institutions;
- Promote initiatives to raise the profile of UFES on the international stage.
