Tuition fees

The Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) is a public institution with four campuses located in three cities within the state of Espírito Santo: Alegre, São Mateus and Vitória.

It offers academic and research programs in all fields of study: approximately 100 undergraduate courses and 60 graduate (master’s and doctoral degrees) across all its schools.

UFES does not charge tuition fees for undergraduate and strictu sensu graduate courses.
Therefore, there are no scholarship programs available for students. Extension (outreach/services) courses may have tuition fees.

Important: All classes at UFES are taught in Portuguese.
The University’s Language Centre offers Portuguese language courses.
