STUDY AT UFES

Students wishing to undertake part of their undergraduate studies at UFES, for up to two academic semesters, may begin in the second semester of 2026 (10th of August).

When may I apply?

To whom should I send my application documents?

The required documents must be sent by e-mail to incoming [at] ufes.br, with the following subject line: Incoming UFES 2026/2.
 

How should I submit my application documents?

The required documents must be submitted by the International Office of the international student’s home institution, in PDF format, as a single document, in Portuguese or English, with the title ‘Nomination + first name + last name - Name of the Course at UFES’ (for example: Nomination John Smith – Psychology), in the following order:

• Pages 1 and 2: Application Form (UFES template);
• Page 3: Study Plan (UFES template) – all modules must belong to the same course;
• Page 4: Copy of the personal details page of the passport (page with photograph);
• Page 5: 1st letter of recommendation, from a professor at your university;
• Page 6: 2nd letter of recommendation, also from a professor at your university;
• Page 7: letter of recommendation from the student’s home university;
• Page 8: academic transcript.

PLEASE NOTE: after receiving the letter of acceptance, international students must apply for a Type IV student visa at their country’s embassy. UFES only accepts international students with this visa.
