Covid-19 Update - UFES

In order to prevent the spread of the virus in our facilities, UFES decided to cancel in-person classes of undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as events (graduation ceremonies, lectures, seminars, theater plays, movie sessions, etc.), between March 17th and 29th, 2020, with a possible extension of this period.

In order to keep the academic community informed about the situation, UFES launched a website to present the main information about coronavirus, methods of prevention and guidelines to deal with this disease: http://coronavirus.ufes.br/

In relation to administrative services: staff members of the International Office are working from home, to keep the administrative routines going, to the extent possible, and providing services to the community by e-mail.

In relation to our students who are studying abroad: the Division of Outbound Mobility is contacting these students, to assess every situation and look for alternatives for them to meet their goals.

In relation to international students at UFES: the Division of Incoming Mobility is contacting these students, in order to keep them informed about the current situation and recommendations for our region.

International students now have a new communication channel, in addition to e-mail - a WhatsApp contact for emergencies: +55 27 99607 4678.

In relation to cooperation agreements: the Division of Cooperation Agreements will continue with the procedures related to ongoing agreements, which are being processed in digital systems.

These preventive measures are subject to changes, according to the current and future situations.
